Fresh and Local: Kansas Farmers’ Market

GCD-940-x-360_thumbnail2

A few weeks ago we we’re able to checkout a Kansas Farmers Market while visiting my family. I was overwhelmed by their great selection of produce, homemade bread, jams, plants, and selection of art. This was one market that truly has all things local.

I was so excited about my “hot find”. Cale and I love all things spicy and purchased some amazing Cajun Tomato Pepper Jelly from Brand’s Fine Foods. If your Looking to step it up a notch the Orange Pineapple Habanero Jelly is perfect for those pepper bellies!

Fun glass pieces from Blue Swallowtail Studios.

Gotta appreciate the homemade signs. So adorable and creative.

Of course Cale made friends with the old school gardners.

Some of the other great vendors we saw include Green Things, Thyme to Grow, Ferns & Foliage, Little Bits Gourmet Cookie Bites from Good Life Company and British-Style Meat Pies! Visit the Kansas Grown Farmers Market website for times and dates throughout the year.
