GCD: NEW Product Design [Portfolio]
Product design has been a part of Green Couch Design since it’s inception in 2008, we love to work with new materials and play with the everyday elements we use in our homes and try to make them better, more fun, or just dress them up a little. Product design has always been a sort of creative release, for all those ideas we didn’t get to use in a graphic design project or those cocktail napkin sketches you just can’t seem to let go of. So here is a sampling of some of our favorite products, with more to come I assure you!

Reclaimed barn wood coffee table. Solid pine beams 12″ x 3″ with drop forged casters, rural design at it’s finest!
Custom crafted concrete ornaments for Midwest Media and Marketing, a great little holiday thank you.
Etched reclaimed window room divider. This was a little idea to use some of the old windows we salvaged from our farm house. Etched and hinged together they bring sophistication and privacy to our guest bedroom.
An oldie but a goody, our tiny tufa has been a hit since we first began playing with concrete. So hats off to a great way to green up your home or office.

We’ve been working for months now on new ideas, new dreams, and new goals. It was scary because we took the time to question everything, to drag it all out on the table and say ok…what is all this and where do we want to go with it. When you get to that place it’s one of those ‘come to Jesus’ moments when you know this is going to affect your entire life.
