Garden Finds: Compost

It’s time to start feeding that soil in earnest again. Pouring the organic matter and compost into those new garden plots and beds turning it in and letting it work. So here are a few of my favorite little composting finds, whether big or small these finds set you up for composting fun!

1. Nothing like speaking your mind, and that’s just what this functional little compost pail from Jamie Oliver does. “Worm Food” enough said!

2. For a more serious composter this stackable compost bin from One20Farm works wonders for keeping things flowing.

3. Not really ready for the worms? Try this icompost t-shirt from Scream Printing and celebrate being green from the safety of your living room.  ;)

4. Any speed demons out there? This compost accelerator from Burgon & Ball is just what you need to get that compost going this spring.

5. Simple beauty is the key for this wonderful compost bucket I found through Bliss Tree. Simply Wonderful!

6. A mean green composting machine, this cute compost bin from Burgon & Ball says it all.

Let me know if you’ve used any of these wonderful items yourself, send me a comment or just stop by and say hi…

Awesome post. I love the look of these products. Number 5 the bamboo compost bucket is really attractive. Hopefully these kinds of products will encourage more people to compost.

I do slightly disagree with number 4. The best compost starter is free. Oddly enough it’s urine. I know it sounds gross but urine contains nitrogen and potassium and is an ideal compost starter. Plus it’s free. So if you can get past the squeemishness you can save some money on compost materials :)
